need some help, car keeps stalling when i slow down
well everytime i slow down from going 40+ mph, i notice my car dies out as soon as the car hits around 10-15mph also, the battery and oil light turn on thats how i know the car dies.
but after i just press and release the clutch while the cars still rolling, the car starts up again (push starting)
even though the cars still driveable by doing this all the time, it gets annoying. i dont wanna have to keep paying attention to the cluster and popping the clutch
help is needed
thanks
btw its a 1996 civic dx, bone stock motor

Re: need some help, car keeps stalling when i slow down (Mr. Sparkle)
dont slow down...
Seriously though, does it idle OK?
Are you slowing down with the clutch engaged or with the car out of gear and your foot off the clutch?
Could be as simple as the fuel filter.
When was the last tune up? That will probably take care of your problem.
