Default Question about my B18C block

Ok, well I'm not sure if this is even the right place to ask this, but I figured some reputable & knowledgeable people in the F.I. world may have had experience with something of the sort.

I recently had the misfortune of cracking the ring-lands on piston #1 in my stock block B18C. I have a 3076R Nuekin ramhorn set-up that was running 13psi, 381whp/255wtq on pump gas. So, I was planning on slam dunking a set of 81mm, 9:1, CP pistons & Eagle rods in because the cylinder walls seems all around fine when I came across a very very small hairline crack at the top of the cylinder(seen in the three pics below, I circled the crack in RED).

Now my question is, would I be fine throwing it together, getting re-tuned and running it like that....OR would I risk completely cracking the sleeve and wind up screwing myself down the road. Wicked tight on money, so having the block sleeved is out of the question. All info, opinions, and input are greatly appreciated.

Pics of crack in question:

If I was in that situation I would sleeve it, I can understand money is tight but that would be horrible to spend all that money and later on down the road you crack a sleeve. Plus you wont have to worry about cracking a cylinder wall. Just save up and re sleeve it.
Damn good numbers as well to!

If your tight on money, you might want to get another block, but being that it's a b18c were talking about, you're probably going to spend a lot of money for another stock block, and not to mention, they're hard to find.
I personally would save up and have it sleeved. Also, remember, once you're block is sleeved you'll have more room for hp goals.

With a crack like that, i would simply pick up a new block. Sleeving would be the best route although with money being tight, that isn't a viable option. My concern here would be putting more boost through it with a built bottom end and then KAABOOOM! The last thing you want to do is save a little money now only to lose your whole engine setup down the line when it lets go...i vote new block

You do need to sleeve the block. If you try and run it the crack will get larger.

Alright guys, thanks for the input/info. I picked up a bare GSR block locally and am just going to swap everything over to that and run it!. Maybe send out the B18C block for sleeves in the future!
