Who knows about this? I know NOPI left a bad taste in everyone's mouth but I am pretty excited to see another major event in Las Vegas this year that I can race at.

i'm sure people will go to race, hell i would. i just wouldn't expect any cars to be built to their rules. actually if i were nopi, i would be lax on the rules, like IFO.

Will never support them again. After the way they dropped a race less than a week before it was to happen and the lack of support they showed for the racing portion of the bikini/jello contest series, I wouldn't expect many to race there either.
I will never support Nopi again . . . Unless they refund all of the class sponsors that they screwed over from the 08 season . . But since I dont see that happening I hope they crash and crash hard.
i would think about goin, but with the car show drifting and everything, i would be stuck pitting at the damn airport anyway.
but for what nopi did to the racers, id never support them again.

Plus, that is the same weekend as the NSCRA Northeast Race #2 at Maryland International Raceway on July 25th. That had to be an oversight on their part I am sure. John Brown and the NSCRA crew is working hard for the sport compact racers, so be sure to support NSCRA please.
The audacity of some people. This is a perfect example of how much these people know about the import drag community.
I never wish bad upon anyone, just make sure history doesn't do a repeat. God knows look at what it did to our sport. Dissected it in less the 6 months. That's just insane.

I am suprised so many people fail to mention the other half of that disaster, NHRA, with all the BS NHRA has pulled since then in their own series, on their own sponsors like MT it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they gave the series the shaft behind closed doors etc.
90 percent of the Nopi staff were great to deal with, compared to the NHRA staff treatment of racers was a joke in my book.

Right on Tuna ! all the nopi people were friendly & it was cool to have other import racers in the NDRA staff (Andrew Bermea, and im sure there are others )
