ok so i have a 95 civic d16z6 and it leaves a good sized puddle every time i park for like an hour or so. I have replaced the oil pan gasket and the rear main seal . Now for some info there is oil on my tranny dripping on my exhaust and on my oil pan so what do you guys think ?

check the top of the engine, sohc's notoriously leak oil from the distributor o-ring

 

Perhaps the large o-ring behind the oil filter? (Not on the filter itself, the housing the filter screws to has an o-ring)

Clean it all off, drive it for a bit and see if you can locate the source.

 

Check your distributor o-ring and your valve cover gasket.

 

Ever checked the trasmission seals?? v-tec solenoid, dizzy O ring... most common

 

Drain plug crusher washer?

 

He said drips onto the oil pan...

i believe i found out what it is i put my hand under the vtec solinoid and it was dripping oil so im guessing its the gasket

 

Dealer only item, autozone, kragen, pepboys, napa had no clue what i meant by, "vtec solenoid gasket".

 

yup called all theses places and they were like theres nop such thing are you sure thats the name. how much did you pay for it at the dealer?

Around $15 or so. Its the dealer, they always rape you.

 

I had the same issue with mine. You might as well replace the oil pressure switch gasket (another dealer item) while you're working on the VTEC solenoid. It is mounted on top of the solenoid.
