Default Vibration when picking up in 1st gear

I have a Honda Civic manual 2009 model with just about 6500 kms on it.
When we start the car, put it in the first gear and try to drive it with very minimal acceleration the car vibrates and ask for lot more vibration. I am under impression that you should be able to drive the car with minimal to 0 acceleration in 1st gear and then accelerate later.
I spoke with many Service center engineers and they are saying that with the new VTech engine this is by design and we must accelerate.

To me this doesnt sound right. Have you also experienced the same?

Please share your thoughts and what can I do to get an answer from Honda?

Thanks.

are you talking about how it lunges forward?

i forget the technical reasons for this but it IS normal and it goes away once the motor is warmed up.

easy fix: give it more gas.

Thats correct Ben it does need more gas. And thats my problem why does it need more gas? I have driven a car with 2400 cc engine and that doesnt need it. so it cant be the new Vtech 1800 cc engine right, as explained by the dealer service center.

Well for me it doesnt go away even when the engine is warmed up. It will always happen when you try to pick up from 0 speed in the 1st gear with minimal gas.

Don't know if that normal but i had that same issues. Someone said that, it might be the axle. I went and check under it and i saw the axle a bit wet from oil or grease..
