Default chip has 2.5 Bar MAP setting, but I have 3 Bar .. can I still use chip ?

accidently told ________ to burn me a basemap chip with Motorola 2.5 Bar MAP, but I have a GM 3 Bar MAP. Basemap chip received.
Can I run my ECU with the 2.5 Bar settings and use the actual 3 Bar MAP ?? What will happen ?

No you can't. Your fuel and ignition values will be off.

The difference of ( 0.5 Bar ) can screw things up that much ? .. I just wanted to drive to my tuner.

Call him up and tell him to make you a new basemap. And yes, it makes enough of a difference. You might be able to get by, but it might also leave you stranded on the side of the road.
