Default ok so i looked threw the FAQ's already

and i couldnt find anything on how to install head studs.

i've never done it b4 and im about to go out and buy some.

for a d16 btw

put bolt in hole, torque to spec in sequence

The directions from ARP are to hand tighten the "studs" into block.

But this is just silly. The way I do it (feel free to jump in guys) is to take an allen wrench and screw them all the way into the block until they stop then back out one turn. Still hand tighten

ARP recommends correct bolt stretching for fastening.

the head studs should come with torque specs. I would highly recommend you pick up a repair manual from your local parts store.

yes arp should reccommend how to install THEIR ****, but when "hand tightening" the head studs, always turn them 1/4 turn back out. otherwise that defeats the whole purpose of the studs in general! at least thats what my machinist told me
