Icon2 quick piston question

Im looking to put together a b20vtec setup for my daily driver but im thinking that the rs machine pistons might put the compression too high. i was wondering if there were any other pistons that would work with the stock rods since im working on a budget. or is there a way to shave the dome on the rs machines?
thanx in advance

They wont put your compression too high.. 12:1ish if I can remember well, which is fine for 91 or 93 oct

the compression calculators i was using online were putting it at around 12.3 to 12.4. now i know these arent exact as each motor is different but i didnt think theyd be off by that much as i also thought id be between 11.7-12.0

i think its safe to say allmotor an budget are not in the same categorie. i understand u trying to be cheap an i dont mean anything by that im also cheap.i have bought used shoes befor but anyways. y dont u just save alil extra an buy a cheap set of rod an forged pistons an not have to worrie about it.i know im not giving u any help just motivation my two cents.if u dont mind me asking whats ur power goal and plans on cams an porting bc that where gonna find ur power

If you're worried about compression, you can always take the cheap route and run a thicker headgasket. Just make sure you have adjustable cam gears to accommodate the timing change.

most likely running tuner 2s maybe pro 1s. simle pnp just to smooth things out. not looking to build a racecar so nothing too extreme. as for power id be happy with 150tq and 220whp. mostly worried about the midrange.
as for the headgasket i was wondering about that but didnt kno where to look into one of those. cometic didnt have any on their site
