I tried to do a few searches about this topic and was unsuccessful...suprisingly enough.
I am going to be putting a b17a w/ b16a hydro tranny into an eg6 (92-95) Civic. With maybe a fluidyne or aftermarket full length radiator.
Is it true that in this situation, One should use the Del sol vtec upper and lower radiator hose?
I just want to check w/ people to see who has done this ?

I have a Del Sol VTEC radiator and hoses and everything seems to work fine if that helps at all. I believe those hoses would have worked fine on my stock radiator as well, I just happened to have the Del Sol radiator left over after the swap.

 

Hey pal, thanks for your informative response to my question on radiator hoses. I have considered a del sol dohc vtec model's Radiator for my 92 hatch which is getting a b series engine . I was also wondering if it is full length like an integra one??? or half sized like a Dx , cx, vx radiator but a lil thicker?

delsol vtec is half size, but dual core. i wouldnt go around saying you have an eg6 on the board unless your vin plate actually says that, it which case you would already have a b16. if you want to avoid being flammed on here just reffer to it as an eg.

i just droped b18c into my eg and i just used the integra hoses and got some of those screw clamp things and wrenched it down.

 

same thing i did, no leaks

I had no idea.. that is the case w/ chassis codes. EG6= Japanese spec civic body /W B16a . Ok.
I learned something new today.
