Radiator for B-series swap?
I'm shopping around for an aluminum radiator for my CR/VTEC swap, I'm using 1994 Del Sol VTEC upper and lower hoses and want to make sure I get the right radiator since the hoses don't fit properly on the 1993 Civic Si Radiator I'm currently using and my engine builder is uncomfortable with me using the stock radiator and the fact that the hoses don't seem to fit properly. So these appealed to me but I want to make sure that they will work with the hoses I'm using. Any thoughts? Or does anyone know the diameter of a 1994 Del Sol VTEC radiator hose considering my car is now sitting at his shop and was going to be getting tuned...but the radiator issue...

all are same, fluidyne, i think one called koyo. Make your problem easier, go get a universal radiator hose for 15 bucks from auto zone and go dyno. worry about it later.

Yeah well I live in the sticks and the only person who can really help me with tuning it won't until I fix that and I don't like any "universal stuff"

Why are you asking about diameter of hoses? I don't get why you're making the problem more complicated than it is. You say you "want the right radiator," well the right radiator is probably the one that goes with the hoses you bought.
Just go and buy a 94 Del Sol VTEC radiator, they're dual core which is different than your single core you've got right now, so obviously fitment issues are to be expected. Some people run B blocks on the single core radiator, I for one figure if Honda changed the radiator for the B16, so should we.

Re: (Falqon)
I figure that also, I wrote to king about the radiator I linked, seeing if the hose locations are in the same place since they just show a generic picture of a radiator for the ad.

I run the stock Si rad in my car, no major problems of overheating. Only complaint I had was trying to get a good seal around the upper hose/rad inlet. I don't really have a point, more of a comment saying it can be done without any major problems, just if you have the choice upgrade it to atleast the dual core.

simple solution to your problem that you're acting like its the end of the world.
Buy a radiator for 94 Del Sol Vtec. (fluidyne, Koyo, C&R, OEM, etc...)
Buy radiator hoses for 94 Del Sol Vtec.
End of story.

I bought a new aluminum one of of ebay for 40 bucks shipped w/ cap. as far as diameter of the hoses you can by rubber spacers from the parts store to make any larger size hose fit on a smaller size neck
