Default NEED HELP WITH DISTRIBUTOR

ok so my dumbass self took out the distributor WITHOUT marking it,in order to make to room to remove a broken bolt
but anyways i took it out without rotating the thing, and my freakin dad comes by and rotates it on the distributor in a back and forth motion.. so ofcourse its going to be hard to align it now!

how can i align the distributor back on?

its a 1989 Honda Accord LXI

well there is only one way to put on the dizzy, the two slits on the cam lock the dizzy in. when you put the dizzy up to the cam it should sit flush, if it does not then rotate the dizzy "teeth" 180 degrees and it should fit into the slits on the cam. but you will need a timing gun to adjust it.
