i dont know what its exactly called, but its the fork outside if the distributer that connects to the cam. is it supposed to be able to rotate 360 degrees? mine stops like at 100 degrees. could something be messed up? TIA

 

yes it should rotate 360. you need a distributor sub housing. the inside of your subhousing was probally rust color

 

I concur on the full, uninhibited rotation of distributor shaft.
