Default Aftermarket LSD VSS gears

alright so i'm getting ready to install my Y1 cable trans w/ b16 1-4 and ls 5th with a cusco type MZ LSD.
It all went together and spec'd out according to my 90 ls integra fsm (asuming all y1 trannies are the same jsut different gear ratios). Now the problem i'm having is the VSS gear is way too big; it wont fit in the hole. Looking around i found a few pics of aftermarket clutch type lsds using a much thinner VSS gear. Conveniently this transmission i got the diff from had no VSS.

Anyone know where one might be able to pickup said gear; i emailed cusco but the last time i did that for a friend it took nearly 3 months to get what he needed.

I'm looking on mfactory's website and their metal plate lsd uses a slim gear like the one in the cusco picture; any of you seasoned tranny guys know if maybe it would work? or maybe a kaaz or some other clutch type lsd gear??

My only other option is to put some DC teg rear spindles on my EF(ED actually) and use one of the ABS ring gears and a speedohealer type of deal to feed my ECU and an electric (non-cable) cluster a speed signal

have you fixed the problem? I heard that you have to contact the manufacturer and purchase one from them. I'm actually about to do that tomorrow. I running into the same issue with my lsd tranny.
