Icon2 LSD problems

I bought a used gear type LSD out of a broken B Hydro trans, but don't know what brand it is. The ring gear is part of the carrier and is not removable. The unit also would not fit the LS clutch housing without breaking off some case ribs(the guy who installed it did this, and I didn't find out until I took it apart). Is the LS clutch housing different than the rest of the B series? And who makes this LSD with a non removable ring gear?
Thank you for your constructive answers.
PS: why do all my posts have an envelope with an arrow on it in the left hand collumn and everybody else has a light bulb??

Ring gear is not removable? I have never seen or heard of this. Am interested in the answer though.
