sup all!! ok i got a 95 integra and now the tach keeps jumping and i lose power around 4000rpm i think it mite be the igniter in the dizzy. if you all have any thoughts on what could be wrong i would like to hear them thanks

 

Nope, Cam Position sens CPS is going bad, time to get a new dizzy. Non service able part.

 

really thats not good small town im not going to have any luck finding one of those

 

To be sure if you can swap dizzys w/ known good one. Buddy brian on his ITR Has that issue, at high RPM His oil light would come on, and he got a CEL for something w/ the VTEC dont remember what. But after swapping dizzy I started and reved my car RPM jumped all around and his was fine. I got the same codes.

The tach is what gives it away as the CPS

 

well i tried the igniter anyway cause i couldnt find a dizzy. so i put it all back together took it for a drive problem is gone runs nice again but thanks for the input but im good now. new dizzy $200 igniter $65 being able to boost again priceless lol
