hey whats up i just built myself a b20vtec i had the head resurfaced and had new valve stem seal put it the head the block i picked up from an importer myself when i removed the head the pistons were clean so im stuck because ive noticed my car is throwing out clouds of smoke from the exhaust itll do it either at high or low rpms i have no idea what it can be help please?
its COLD OUT?!
what color smoke? blue or white?
Blue means oil is getting into the cumbustion chamber
White means to much fuel (rich A/F mixure)
did u change the rings one the pistons? if so did you gap them correctly.

i have the same thing on my z6/y8.i have white smoke and when i tried a p30 on mine it stoped but a puff of black when reved.i know black is to much fuel but y the white.
How long have you been running it with a huge fuel pump and no pressure regulator? That's crazy. That thing should be billowing black smoke from being to rich. Maybe you meant something else?
If it is consuming a lot of oil and blowing that much smoke I would suspect the oil control rings are stuck or faulty. A lot of people mistake blue smoke for white smoke. The blue oil smoke will be white smoke with a faint, bluish tint. It can be easy to describe it as 'white', but it's not. The steam that comes out of a tailpipe when you have a blown headgasket is thick and the color of a white cloud. I
