Well, my b16 crapped out on me, so i am going to order a gsr longblock from hmotors, and put that in. I was wondering what I need to swap in the gsr long block, i've read up this thread https://honda-tech.com/forums/hybrid-engine-swaps-18/jdm-gsr-b18c-into-99-00-civic-si-em1-swap-guide-howto-bible-1644898/, and it has a lot of good information on the full swap, but i'm just doing the longblock and I want to know what i need to replace? I am swapping over necessary parts from the b16.

You'll need a P72 ECU. And if you're going to keep it OBD2b, you'll need a way to deal with the immobilizer. You'll need to add IAB wiring.

Other than that, it should be considerably easier than a B18C1 in a 99-00 EX, because you don't have to deal with a lot of the D-series specific things, like the cat flange being wrong, the exhaust being short, the distributor plug being wrong....

You *should* be able to reuse your AC compressor bracket... I'm not 100% sure. I do know you won't be able to use the GSR bracket. Your compressor won't fit on it. Not sure about power steering.
