Default b18a1 rod bearings clearances issue...

just plastigauge them and got

.001
.0015
.0015
.0015

the first one seems to be too tight and after i torque them i cant spin the crank. crank was polish & balance, i swap bearings on 1with 4 and get the same results. do guys think rod 1 could be bad?? its used with low miles.

Does the tight one follow the bearing? or stay with the rod?
Were these recently machined?

The rods were not machined. it does get tight after I torque down that rod once I losen it by a lil I can spin the crank with no problem

Bring all the rods and the rod bearings youll be using too. Id let them measure everything again just to be safe. Theyll be able to correct anything that needs it before you discover it on your own...

MAKE SURE THEY DONT OVERTORQUE THE ROD BOLTS like my machine shop did. I will be having to re-purchase rod bolts due to their mistake that they wont man up to...
Good luck!
