Default Civic Battery Drain

1992 Civic.. Standard everything, except a cd player. I have had the car for years and have not had any problems until this winter.

When it gets extremely cold out and you shut off the car, a clicking noise starts and a few dummy lights stay on engine and oil as well as both turn signal lights (not flashing). The only way to make the stop is to disconnect the battery. after the weather has heated up again, everything seems to be fine. Any ideas as to what might be freezing up?

Default Re: Civic Battery Drain

im still having the same problem with my 00 si. during warm weather the battery works fine even if i don't start the car for a few day. on winter time for some reason the battery goes dead. i park my car inside a garage that's probably why.
