My 93 coupe shuts off wen im driving, I changed my injectors,dizzy ,and ecu. If i turn key to off position then back to on position and pop start it then the car starts but if i dont do that and just try to pop start it den it dont work. So what can it be? IOOts not throwing any CEL's, need help trouble shooting.

 

It sounds like the car only starts when you prime the fuel system (turning key to on) a couple times. Change the fuel filter if you haven't in awhile and if that doesn't help, check your fuel pressure.

 

Any other thoughts???

 

It could be your main relay, but I doubt it would be working then not. I would go with delsolproblems, check/replace your fuel filter. There only 12.99$ at O'reillys

 

Ok i checked the filter and it flowed good so now i need 2 figure out what else it can be.

 

What do you mean you checked it and it flowed good? You can try swapping the main relay like I said it might be. Other than that check all your grounds. Make sure they are tight, and not just on there.

 

intermittent ignition switch failure? sodder on the switch is probably cooked.

 

Borrow a fuel pressure tester from a parts store to see if the pump is working properly. Make sure the air filter is not the culprit as well.

 

I changed my iacv and let the car run for about a hour then shut?the car off then back on and it is fine, so the real test will be when i drive the car!
