Default Weird EM2 d17a1 Turbo Issues....

Seeing if anyone has had something similar to this issue.. Got a customers car at the shop doing some weird ****, not very common to see a turbo d17a1 so i figured i'd ask on here.. Car has a turbo specialties kit installed by us, at first on stock injectors the spacer plate that TS provides with 2 extra injectors etc.. car started, idled, ran decent, but not to the satisfaction of the customer due to no timing retard, and pig rich conditions for 5 ish psi.. Long story short, he went the emange ultimate route, i slapped the car on the dyno, started doing pulls after a semi decent partial thtl. tune (emanage works when it feels like it it seems) and started getting into boost, and bit higher rpms.. car after seeing some boost, started idling low, and sometimes would just cut off.. i forgot to mention this is on 410cc rdx injectors.. finally took around 2 or 3 tries to crank and it just felt like spark was geting weaker and weaker cause under say 4 psi the car had very weird ign break up.. the ultimate itself threw me a internal code saying ign was under 12 volts so i took the unit appart and switched jumper 8 from 5 volt to 12.. car since that day has not started.. no longer gives me the 12 volt issue code, but it plain does not start.. its got a walbro 255 that primes and tested at the rail, i do have gas..Also i do have spark but it seems weak.. Car still does not start, and i am willing to go ahead and change the cam sensor and crank sensor because ive ran out of ideas.. all the fuses check out, im just out of ideas! wondering if anyone has had an issue like this, or think it might be the actual ECU? THanks in advance...

You shouldn't have taken the car in or be in the business if you're posting up on forums asking for advice. i'd be pissed off if i were the customer.

It's emanange thats making it run like crap. Your going to need k-pro for this set up to run right it's the only reliable standalone for our cars.

not really you can run on a piggyback til about 8psi after that i would switch to a standalone.

most piggy back struggle with these ecu's for the most part, the aem F/IC and the PCS XFC are your bestt options for a piggy back

Actually, you can boost up to 10psi on a piggyback. i wont get into the reasoning why though. It's hard but you CAN get a D17 to run correctly with a piggyback. I've seen it.

You are the reason why most people don't ask for advice anymore.. i was asking if anyone had the same issue that im having with this car... im sure i wouldnt be posting if the customer can afford kpro or aem ems, but i figured some people on here run the piggyback setup on these cars... as far as im concerned, you obviously don't know whats wrong with it, so keep your smart *** comments to yourself... FYI, car is fixed, and out of the shop, thanks to all that stayed on topic! cheers

So since it got fixed why didnt you post up what was changed in order to fix it. So in the future, people with the same problems can check out how it was done...
