Annoying electrical problem need some help.
So before i begin, i would like to state that the problem i am having may be caused due to a bad ground... but you tell me.
So as for the problem; as i am driving down some sh**** streets in my neighborhood, i will come across some pesky potholes, and when
i hit these potholes my cd reciver will basically turn off then back on again, and my check engine and ABS light will flash. It is getting quite irratating. Anyone have any ideas to what may be causing this, and what i can do to fix this annoyance.

Whatis the MM&Y of the car, is it a 94 Civic?
Does the HU, [CD player] actualy turn off or just stop playing, does radio cut out?
If it is just the CD player, I would ask if the HU has a proper back support. 94

Yeah a 94 civic ex, and yeah it turns off for a brief second than comes right back on and continues playing

I would pull the HU and check the wiring, make sure wiring is done correctly and there is no possibility of a short, either because connections are not covered properly or the HU harness has not been "pinched" under the back of the HU and the stock rear support brace and/or any unused radio harness leads are properly caped off.
Because this happens when hitting bumps, [pot holes] it is a connection problem, so check all the connections, starting with dash harness grounds, most are found on lower "A" pillar, also check all the dash harness plugs going to and around the under dash fuse box, unplug them and plug them back in.
Replace your fuses with new ones, even if a fuse looks good it can be defective, a fuse can even test good and still be bad, a not so uncommon defect/damage to an ATC/ATO fuse is the fuse filament will break/crack at one of the legs, it will be pretty much undetectable except under excess load or stress, [like hitting pot holes] where it will break connection for an instant. 94
