C D Stuck in player

C D Stuck in player

My sister-in-law has a '03 Civic, a cd will not eject or play. Is there an easy fix for this or do I need to start calling up the junkyards? THX for any info! The radio works fine, are they separate units or a single combined unit?

Try a reboot, disconnect the batt. neg.(-) terminal, wait 15min. then reconnect, CD should eject when HU initializes, [puts CD transport in the ready to load mode].

If that does not work there is either a problem with the HU, [something broken] or there is a problem with the CD itself, [warped, cracked, loose label if it has one], if it is a disc problem you will need to remove HU, open it up, remove CD transport and manually remove the disc.
