Default S2000 motor mounts

Are the motor mounts in the S2000 solid rubber or do they have an oil/liquid fill in them?

The mounts are liquid filled. A lot of us upgrade to the innovative mounts

I've never had any issues with the stock mounts. :/ And I launch and drive the **** out of my car.

Where's the liquid in these mounts?? Inside the rubber??

They are basically the same as the driver side ek mount. The fluid is inside the mount. Mine was in 2 pieces when I pulled the motor. I replaced them with 85a innovative mounts

How are those mounts??? Vibration wise?? I've been given some thought into getting a set, but I don't want to turn my car into a rattle box.

I havent gotten mine running yet. I have heard of issues with the 65a mounts tearing.

I figure its a sports car and 90% of the time i have the top down.. who cares if it rattles a bit. I cant be worse than my civic with solid mounts.

I also fabed up some solid diff mounts as mine were tearing and i'm not spending ~$500 on mugen or J's mounts.

Rattling a bit isn't a bit deal, rattling like a civic with solid mounts, yeah, that would suck. For a race car, yeah, no big deal. For a street car, meh.....

the stock mounts are filled with some orangish colored liquid.

mugen and spoon(may be a liquid mount also) make all rubber mounts if you wanted to go that route, but more money. innovative's mounts do come in 4 different levels of stiffness.

megan racing/hardrace also make stock look-a-like hard rubber bushings, but i hear they make for horrendous vibrations

Inovative 75a is what everyone seems to like the best.

What I'll be buying in spring.
