Default gsr motor with LS crank

with this setup,

Do I order LS rods and GSR pistons?

GSR main bearings and LS rod bearings?

LS crank = ls rods
pistons dont matter
Ls rod bearings
LS main bearings and GSR mains are the same.

I wouldn't go so far as to say pistons don't matter... I would definitely run a VTEC piston with a VTEC head at least, but the piston should definitely reflect your targeted compression ratio and chamber shape.

For N/A builds, an ITR style piston is probably one of the better choices.

its gonna be a 84mm cp piston, for boost, those dont come with b18b/c options,

i think its because the b20's come with vtec sized valves, so they just made all the 84mm pistons "vtec" compatible.

Pistons dont matter. He didnt mention if he was going to boost or not, so me stating a piston that would yield a high comp ratio would be bad advice if he was. He was asking a question in regards of what would work. With that being said, any piston would work (excluding b20 bore size.)

throw some pr3's or p30 piston and you would get some great compression with the ls crank and rods on your gsr also keep the gsr head on their and your compression will almost be at 12: or so.

I would rather keep it at 82mm and stick with stock sleeves then have aftermarket sleeves installed,I mean the difference between 82 & 84mm at 89mm stroke is 92cc's or 5% power=not worth it to push your luck on someone elses workmenship when honda has proven to be great anyway.
