a friend told me that turbos that have anti-surge housing make less power and spools up to 500 rpms slower.. is this true.. btw he's a supra guy...also what exactly is anti-surge lol

Anti-Surge compressor covers help keep the compressor wheel from reversion (going in the other direction from high pressure application). Anti-surge covers are not horsepower-limiting. Your friend is not correct.

shodan would it hurt to put the drilled holes into the second turbo jus a question not to sound stupid and its jus for looks for why im askin

It can hurt if they aren't strategically placed. This is an option that Precision provides for more asthetics of their T04S compressor covers. Unfortunately, you can't just be like Homer Simpson and drill "Speed Holes" just anywhere.

Googled it and this was in some supra fourm
"big hp supra guys claim they make a antisurge delete on their housing because the anti surge housing was robbing as much as 200-300 RPM spool and 50-100hp?!* all this is in reference to the turbo not surging on the set up."

those are are on SERIOUSLY larger inducer wheels that it MAY be an effect, and even then, it is insignificant by any means. What does that mean for you, the 2.0 litre street/track driven car? Absolutely nothing.
