Simple Turbo Question
okay i want to know what this means when talking about turbos, T3/TO4E 50 TRIM W/ .63 A/R
T3 is the compressor housing, and TO4E is the turbine housing?j
I also want to know what the trim means and .63 A/R, So if someone could break it all down, id appreciate it

You have it flip-flopped.
The T3 is the turbine housing and the T04E is the compressor.
The 50 trim is referring to the compressor trim and the .63 A/R is referring to area/radius ratio of the turbine side.

where can i learn the differences in size and how much power one could expect to make and turbo lag. Do i have to look at compressor maps to understand? They are pretty confusing 1st time looking at one, although i have yet to read TURBO magazines latest article on how to read them. I was going to go NA, but im thinking of going turbo now and would like learn more about them, i already understand how they work, would like more info on the sizes and trims and how they affect power and the A/R.
ok i somewhat understand compressor maps now the part to me that is most confusing tho is say the airflow, how do i know how much air the b16 can flow?
pounds per minute?, and doesn't and engine flow more pounds per minute and different rpm from idle to redline?
