I have a '96 Dx sedan and I wanna do a swap into it, i might buy this D16zc engine and tranny and as far as I'm concern its the same as a D16z6 right?? is it a great engine for boost??? i wanna boost it as well... or should i just find a vtec head and throw it on my d16y7 block instead??? what about those D16zc tranny's any advantage on it???

 

the D16ZC are the same as the D16A6 NOTthe D16Z6........im am planing on building a d16zc with all stock internals and put 10-15psi of boost on it.....my friend ran his whit 8psi for a year and never had a problem with it....as long as you get it tuned properly it should be good.

P.S. the d16zc are NOT VTEC

Hey guys im also building a D16zc tubro with stock internals in my EK9. Wat kinda of ecu should i use? Right now i have a Ex v-tec ecu. idk if that will work with the D16zc.
