i have a 1991 honda civic hatchback that has about 147000 miles. the problem is i left the car parked for 8 days cause im a truckdriver. i got home today and when i went to start it it wouldnt start. then it started butwhen i gave it fuel nothing happened and it would die. i turned it on again and it stayed one for about 5 to 10 seconds and then it would die. please help. car has new fuel filter, spark plugs, wires distributer cap, and main relay.

r u getting gas,fuel pump,or do u have gas in your car?

 

It does sound like you're out of gas.

 

I have the same problem! I sprayed starting fluid in the intake manifold and it would run as long as I sprayed it but would die shortly after. I have a new fuel pump and filter.
Any help?
