I can't give you advice for the SCE gasket, but I am replacing my Benson 84.5mm B18C with a Golden Eagle 84.5mm head gasket.

why copper when the OEM gasket works perfect for any power level.

Go to a hardware store and find some copper & stainless wire - try bending both... Copper is only if you're removing the head constantly. Copper o-rings are the only copper I'd use for a Honda block.

Get a bunch of OEM's from an online dealer shop and be done with it. If you search, hondapartsdeals has a honda-tech code for free shipping or something.

My opinion on the copper gaskets is that copper is suck a soft metal and has a greater potental for blowing out, compresses and seals great tho but I wouldn't trust it under high cylinder pressures.

becouse i have one on the shelf

drag cars are using copper gaskets and they have preaty big pressure ratios, i'll have no more than 30psi

Copper gaskets sometimes have issues leaking coolant and oil. I would stick to steel gaskets.

speaking from experience..they are good for low power but imo anything after 250whp the tend to give alot of probs..

when i moved from 7 to 15 psi on my stock b16a set up it start leaking water in the cylinders thus pressurizing my engine and caused engine lock.

they suck a lot of heat though but thats about the only good thing..they are just not strong enough to cope with high hp numbers they bend to easy under pressure.
