Default Removing ITR Decals

A sad thing happened, i was washing grime off my car and the red of my Type RRRRRR emblem like blew away partially, my decals looks sad. How can i remove them to replace them?

Any GOOD way? I may just pay a decal shop or similar to remove them to save heart ache. Im an advocate of keeping things original when it comes to badging so don't say "leave them off"

A heat gun or hair dryer is the best way. I've done both and a heat gun is definitely easiest but either will work.

Im not sure what the decals are made of, but you can use a heat gun to soften the bond between the sticker and the adhesive. Peal back a little then heat it up, then peal the rest while its hot. After use a product such as goo gone to remove glue. If it is the type of sticker that wont allow for heat to help remove it, your just going to have to pick it off or use a 3M Vinyl/Stripe Eraser.

I would have a local sign shop do this for you if you are not comfortable.

I work at a sign shop, this is what i would do.

On most OEM honda paint jobs, that is fine if you know what your doing. But on other cars it will blow the paint and/or clear right off! Ask me how i know :D lol
