Default help me find out what trim my turbo is and what hp it can make!

open up the turbo today and did some measuring, it's a t3/t4 turbo but i dont know what trim it is...

Turbine Side........
Inducer: 65.44mm
2.57 Inch
Exducer: 55.93mm
2.20 Inch


Compressor Side...
Exducer: 76.20mm
3.00 Inch
Inducer: 50.49mm
1.98 Inch

not sure how to caculate this so i need H-T's help....

He's pretty much asking you to do the calculation for him since he's not good at math.

The formula you gave him is pretty much useless.

The hotside looks like a garrett t3 stage III. With a 0.63 A/R housing & race gas you might get over 450hp (350ish with a 0.48 A/R), and the compressor can do about 400hp with race gas. That would be a modified motor though, a mild motor on pump gas would be lower.

I bet if you post pics, it will look just like a $120 ebay turbo. They can make power, but not for very long. They crap out with lots of boost - that's a fact not an opinion.

will i be ok at 350 on this turbo?

where did u get the idea a 44 trim compressor in a .50 AR housing can make 400whp?

maybe with some nitrous on top.

If he can measure, he can plug in the numbers to substitute the words, and use a calculator. Can't do much more to help someone more than that. Not sounding harsh, but these are the realities of life.
