04 Accord k24 with 116k what needs checked or replaced?
So i have an 04 accord with the K24 and i have about 116,000 miles.
I have changed the transfluid, oil when recommended but wasn't sure what really needs done besides the basic checking of suspension, axles.
When is the timing chain supposed to be changed if at all?
Any other maintenance that would be recommended or preventative for a all highway car?
thanks for the help

Change the spark plugs, Drive belt, and coolant and you should be up to par on maintenance. I am assuming that you change you cabin air filter along with your engine air filter. THe timing chain does have an inspection cover but unless you are having issues then I would not check it. The best maintenance for the timing chain is regular oil changes.
thanks for the info on the timing chain, i knew it had very different maintenance approach then a regular timing belt.
Ill have to ask him if the plugs have been changed
