Icon6 b20 type r turbo help

I have a 1997 civic ex with a b20 block and b18 type r head its fully built and turboed pushing 20psi. I have been having a problem when i get on my car kinda hard. It builds boost fine but when vtec is supposed to kick in it spits and sputters and i loose all my power. I have check all connections to the ecu and the vtec sylenoid. If anyone has any clue to what could be going on please give me some tips thanks.

how long has it been doing this for. if it's since day one that ou have been pushing 20psi it could be the tune leaning out.(Not enought fuel on the map) when you go into vtec it probobly needs more fuel, so not enought psi or just tune not corrected for fuel.....

Missfiring at full boost? replace your sparks and regap them to the same gap as your tuner recomends...(that is the first and cheapest to look for, and the most common if the car worked fine before)

It may be old spark wires, or burnt distributor cap/rotor etc. but start with the sparks...

(If you now say the car isnt properly tuned, GET IT TO A REP TUNER WITH A DYNO ASAP or you might end up taking the bus, lol)
