where is my idle adjustment?
ive got an 86 crx. 1.5. on the carburetor, where is my idle adjustment? i had a friend tell me one thing, but its not it, so yeah...where is it? pics may be helpful too. thanks.
See your throttle cable? Cable is attached to the carburator via the throttle rotor (I don't know the proper name, I call it a throttle rotor).
Step on the gas pedal, throttle rotor moves butterfly open and closed..
Open the throttle, then close it. When you close it, you'll see that it stops on a little square piece of metal with a screw in it.
That screw is how you adjust your idle.
Sorry for the seemingly redundant instructions, I didn't know how else to explain it.
