My car is a DX and when I got it,it already had power steering so I assumed cx was the only model without power steering.
But I know a guy with a ek DX Civic and he said his don't have power steering...

So that means someone installed power steering in my car or what?

 

My DX hatch didnt come with P/S or A/C

 

My car had a/c also when I got it....
The guy I know with the ek dx has a hatch also and mine is a sedan so maybe the sedans came with p/s and a/c stock and the other body types don't?

Its was an option at the time. So It may have one or the other or even both. I've personally had a DX with power steering and A/C, and a Si with PS but no A/C.

 

none of the 92-95 civics came factory with AC

it was added at dealerships before being sold

as far as PS

i have a 95 dx without PS. but have seen plenty of them with PS, so i assume it was an option as well.

looked at an 89 dx the other day that had PS

 

PS was standard on the DX Sedan and Coupe. It was not available on the hb. A/C was available on any Civic.

Just to confuse you more, my DX hb has PS but no A/C, but it had A/C and no PS when I bought it in 92 (I added the PS from a DX sedan and removed the A/C).

 

All '92 - '95 Civic Sis came with power steering. CX/DX models with an automatic transmission automatically got P/S as part of the package (there were no USDM automatic CXs, but they were available in Canada) A/C was optional on all '92 - '95 civics except for '94 - '95 EX sedans where it was standard equipment.
