Correct. All models (sedans, coupes, hatches) have power steering w/ auto trannies. Having power steering with a 5-speed was an option.

actually the 96-up dx hbs.. came with P/S standard.. that is what made the difference from the dx to the cx.. plus the color matched rear wing =P

I owned a 98 DX and it had P/S
and then I now have a 96 CX and it has none.
but who needs it anyways
Get some Flaken Azenis and you won't even know you dont have power steering, hahah

I don't mean to flame, but i dont think you're right. I have a 97 DX hatch and i dont have ps, but my friend has a 98 DX and he does have ps. I'm pretty sure that for 96-up ps on manual trannies was an option, but came standard on automatics.

My friends 95 DX 5spd coupe does not.

Im positive the 1993-95 Automatic Civics came with power steering standard. Manual tranny i dont know about...

this is all i know that had ps:

96-00 all coupes
96-00 at dx hatch
98-00 mt dx hatch
96-00 all sedans

cx never had ps. don't know about 92-95. remember though, people put ps in cars themselves. i have ps in my 97 hatch which i put in.

Ok, this is the way it is, I havent read any replies, so here..

All automatic DX's have power steering
NONE of the manual DX's have power steering
