Default License plate with intercooler

Searched, but couldnt really find a definite answer..Will mounting my front license plate in front of my FMIC hinder anything performance (i.e. block significant airflow to the intercooler) wise? I just don't feel like getting harassed for no front plate

Just mount it to the side. I don't think it will hurt anything though

its a small intercooler and if its not a quality piece then it might be an issue but it also depens on how much boost your going to run and what size turbo. if your running a small turbo and trying to crank the boost then intake temps are going to get high if the intercooler isnt working 100%

It is rather small you should be ok and should not have any cooling issues either. I didnt have any when I ran the smaller IC but when I started upgrading to bigger ones damn did that block flow to my RAD

This may be silly but did you touch your cold side charge pipes to see if they were any warmer after a pull now that you have a license plate in the way?

on 7 psi there isnt going to be much heat generated so there probably wont be a noticable difference to the touch

You would have to atleast use a infared temp gun to know for sure, unless your hand is a thermometer
