Default Thought I sealed all the leaks....

OK, I am open to suggestions. I tore the cowel apart, sealed around everything, sealed the plastic piece that pops, out, sealed the bottom edge of the windshield, put it all back together with new clips and sealed the caps back in place... and the "EF" ing thing still leaks...

I have finally found the path the water is coming in at, its along the right edge of the passenger firewall/footwell. the computer seems dry all around it, it just seems to follow the right edge all the way down.

So my question is what the heck did I forget to seal..

Any thoughts, finds etc would be greatly appreciated, The way this thing is leaking I dont want to leave it in the rain so I am driving the GAS PIG... 12.2 mpg on a good day, hence you can see my motivation to get the hatch back on the road.

Yeah that sounds like a front window issue. Here's what to do. Get a water hose and start at the lowest points of the car where it could be leaking. Just go through each one and then move up on the car till you find out where it's leaking from.

So window seals... like pull tte window out and have it reinstalled? crap if I have to do that I might as well replace the windshield, its got a fogging issue anyways..

I think the guy I bought this from new it was leaking bad and thats why he got rid of it... it didn't smell bad though

If it has a fogging issue that's due to it leaking and letting moisture in. The window itself is fine, it just might need a new seal. Do like I said and try to track down the location and see if there are any visible signs of corrosion or cracking.
