car shaking when stopped
My 1991 honda civic is shaking when sitting at lights idling. It seems to shake less when I start to accelerate and is barely noticeable when driving.
She also doesnt seem to be accelerating as well either.
I've had some other problems with her but they have been fixed now, however I'll post the link to the other thread as perhaps they may be related to the current problem.

sounds like the idle might just be too low.
the idle might be low because of the timing being off, which would also affect overall engine performance.
that's my guess.

whats the car idling at? i know that happens when im in first just starting off, but it goes away when excelerating. but check the idle. take it to a mechanic, unless you know how to ajust the idle.
but do what you can first to save money.

Not sure what it's idling at. I don't have an RPM guage (thats where'd Id check right?)
Its an automatic.
It shakes in drive, neutral, reverse and park but differently, either slower, harder, noisier, etc.
