Default 95 Accord Help

my heater stays on when i turn the car off and take the key out and it is killing my battery.....

what can this be????

all help is apperciated

Is the heater the only thing that stays on? Also have there been any repairs or modifications done to this car recently? Do you have any other issues starting the car? We need more info than just the heat stays on when u turn the car off.

yes the heater is the only thing that stays on and recently i did a complete tune up and replaced my distributor starter and speed sensor and my car acts like it doesnt wanna start some times because my dumb *** brother cranked it while dad distributor was off of it but im guess dats a timing problem

Did this heater problem start around the same time as the distributor mishap?

I know the ignition control module is tucked up into that area you were working in with regard to the distributor. I would look around that area for damaged components and Ign module that's been polarized ir busted/stuck open will continue to drain the battery even if the car is off. At least that's what happened to my car. That wouldn't explain the heater per say but i'm wagering the distributor area is where you should start looking.

check all dat today and still nothing the lights on the climate control stay on too and it keeps killing my battery after a while of the car being off

How does the ignition feel. Does the key have any trouble going in or out? It could be a broken ignition.

yea you have to kinda force the key out....i kinda figured it was my ignition it stoped now but most likely it would start back up
