thats just about the least descriptive post ever......

but... is it a mechanical sound, does it sound like air? give us SOMETHING to work with.. does it change with speed? or where you are driving? when you start the engine?
come on man

Are you sure its not your serpentine belts that is making the noise? Otherwise I'm thinking it may be your lower ball joint.

try this, what kinda car you talking about here?

as was mentioned, could be ball joint..

could also be a strange condition whereby the air vents do not lock off completely and your car begins to whistle above 60mph, happens to me, clearly audible if you take off the music

its a 89 accord lxi. And it gets faster and louder as your speed up. But it starts at like 20mph. and it sounds mechanical. not like air/wind

When you are revving the engine does it still make the same sound, as it does when you are accelerating while driving? Sounds like the serpentine belt.

Try to eliminate as many variables as you can while diagnosing a car problem.

Or could it be one of the pulleys has facked bearings? It's hard to tell without being by the car.

Is it constant at speed? Does it sound like metal scraping? Could be a wheel bearing. Would be great if you posted a video so we could hear it.

Does the sound go away when you hit the brakes?

No thats the thing it doesnt. I think i know what it is now. Could it possibly be the little spindle in my speedometer. That would explain why it is only audible from the inside

Get going highway speed in a safe place and shift into N (or coast). See if it changes or not. If it is the serp belt, then the noise should go down with the engine RPMs.

Sure can. Pull your cluster and lube the speedo cable connection.
