Default information on soon to be new motor (jdm d15b)

my z6 is crappin out on me so i will be ordering a new motor soon.
i was wonderin if anyone here has or has had experience with the jdm d15b vtec
and how they run. i've heard they stomp out z6's and give b16's a run for their money
how true of statements r these...from epxerience...

I don't have experience with them, but I'm pretty sure there more or less the same as a z6.

Still a good engine tho, and very good to boost.

Don't have any personal experieance with the D15B VTEC but I doubt either one of those scenarios are true. The D15B makes 130BHP, thats only 5BHP more than a Z6. Stock for stock I doubt a D15B-V will touch a B16A unless the B16A is in a heavy chassis and the D15 in a light chassis.
