STARTER SHAKES!!!
SO, my semi rebuilt B16a2 powerd EJ1 isnt starting due to lack of SPARK, ive changed all the fuses inluding main relay, got new dizzy,alternator,plugs/wires etc...
when attempting to start the car my friend noticed that my starter was shaking. the reason for the shaking is that one of the Bolts that hold the starter to the tranny isn't there... why? the threads are efffed up and i'm too lazy to tap new threads.
my question to you is that would my starter not being fully mounted cause the engine to lose spark or not start??

If your starter is shaking bad when engaging, consider the fact that you could be pulling your motor very soon to fix the flywheel because the teeth are ****ed up from the starter not functioning properly.
im sorry dudes!!!! i had NO idea about the relationship between the starter and flywheel...my flywheel is brand new and so is the starter. imma tap new threads tomorrow morning and check for wear on the new flywheel THX
