ok so i got my p28 chipped today for my 99 h22a4 to run off of but also did i just find out today that i gotta do something to the engine harness dizzy and injectors. that i gotta get obd1 connecters on harness and change the dizzy and injetors to obd1 also. i dont get it y would i have to do that?

i would think its because the h22a4 is an OBDII engine regularly so you need to make it OBDI to work with your del sol because your car is OBDI unless its 95 or newer

I'm assuming you're using your stock Civic harness then? But you need to do the wiring because they have different plugs. The injector plugs for OBD1 ('92-'95) are different from injector plugs for OBD2 ('96+). So if you wanted to use OBD2 injectors in your car, you would need to get the plugs for OBD2 injectors and wire them in yourself. Otherwise, you'll need OBD1 injectors, but they will probably have to be saturated ones (OBD1 H22A injectors are peak and hold). The distributor wiring is also different. Your car, being OBD1, has a 2-plug distributor, where the H22A4 distributor (OBD2B) has a 1-plug. Beyond that I'm not a lot of help. I've never had to deal with an OBD2 H22A4 before, so I'm not sure exactly what kind of plug it has for the distributor (8-wire or 9-wire), or whether it's internal coil or external. Hopefully someone with more experience will jump in here.

can u put a f22b1 tranny on a h22a4 engine?? sorry just got that question ^^

As long as it's the Prelude base model H22A4, and not the Prelude SH model H22A4.

and how do i know my engine SH or SS???

Does your engine have, or at one point had, an ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System) unit attached to it? If it has or had this unit on it, then it's from an SH. If it doesn't and didn't then it's the H22A4 (the one you want).

would anyone know where i can find some schematics on a p13 ecu for for a b16a engine in an eg civic hatch? doing it myself, getting a little confused
