help! car wont pass 3500 rpm.

Default help! car wont pass 3500 rpm.

hi guys.
i just installed a apexi kit to my b16a swaped EK . with 550s and walbro 255. hondata s300 loaded with a basemap.
car starts with some black smoke. after few mins, car idels fine. but cant really pass 3500 rpm even step on gas slowly and not on gear.
what shold i check for the prob? lol...

i would probly start with a tune instead of a basemap then go from there .. for all you know is that map could be set up like that just to get you to the tunner

If ur reving it and not rolling or out of gear it could b the launch control limiting u to 3500 rpm. Try reving it while rolling

it is either launch control setting or the basemap is set there so you dont ruin your motor before you get a tune. thats my guess and if it is the setting of the basemap whoever made the basemap good job.

cant pass 3500 while rolling too...

that's what i am thinking .how do i fix limp mode (coz of over boost rt ?) ??

disc battery ? or need reload the map ?

If ur in limp mode u should have a CEL (if ur CEL works that is) if not then it must be set-up for 3500 limiter.

i checked CEL today . it was crank angal sensor code. i tired to fix the code. but doest work. i am using a b16a distubutor on my type R head.when i use stock p73, car runs fine. after switch to obd1(s300),i got CEL. May distubutor coz the prob??

What dizzy r u using (OBD1 or OBD2)? In obd2 engines the crank angle sensor is in the crank
