Hey fellas, I bought a type R swapped 98 hatch with a P28/OBDII to OBDI conversion and Hondata S100 installed. Car runs pretty good but the previous owner told me it did need a retune since he put cams in it.
I have the hondata software on my brothers laptop so I'm good to go there, do I just need an EPROM burner to be able to burn my own chips? Will the Moates Burn2 unit work?
Thanks for the help.

You would need the romeditor v4 software license/dongle cable along with a motes ostrich & eprom chip burner. You will also want to use a wideband oxygen sensor gauge.
You maybe best off taking the car to an authorized hondata tuner.

I have romeditor4 that my brother used for tuning already, what I don't understand is the "dongle" what is that?
I think I only need the ostrich for quick emulation, from what I understand I can still burn chips with just the chip burner but I have to remove the chip from the ECU each time. I have tons of experience tuning Mustangs/fords so I want to do my own car, I can't make myself pay the prices these tuners around here want to tune my almost stock car.
Thanks for the reply.

Romeditor v4 comes with a usb dongle cable that must be connected to the pc in order to save or burn chips. Without it the romeditor v4 software is useless.
