Default hondata s200 help

just got a p28 with hondata s200 installed but i need a chip for it. do i need a specific chip like a hondata chip or can i use any rewritable 28 pin chip?

The chip can be a 28 pin eprom chip that is compatible with your ecu such as an atmetl 29c256 or sst 512 eprom chip. The chip must have a hondata binary file written to it in order to operate properly with your s200 unit.
