aem ems diy?
is the aem ems system diy or is it still something that needs to be done by a tuner? and if i buy it for my 89si will it work with my b16 swap or do i need to order it for something else?
Obviously it is a DIY. There is no tuning for OBD-0 or OBD-1 that needs a "dealer only" pass. Why are you wanting to go AEM and not just use a S300? IMO S300 is way better than AEM. It IS a TUNING program... so you can obviously adjust it to run any motor... Also, if it is for your setup, you do not need it unless you are going to run nitrous or boost.
i agree. the ems system is uber expensive, has way more features than you need, and is more difficult to tune than say hondata or crome. it is definitely not a diy, not unless you are a tuner and have explicit knowledge in the useage of the system.
