Default 15g Turbo power capabilities

Okay, so I plan on building my single cam for boost, vitaras, custom i beams etc. As of right now I have my single cam boosting ~10psi out of this 15g turbo from the greddy kit. Now what I am wondering is, what trim is this turbo, I have been searching for a long time on and off for what size this turbo is and I can't seem to find a definite answer from more than one source on what size it is.

Also, What I've been looking for is what the max whp is I will get out of this turbo on my d16z6.

Thanks.

i have the greddy kit and on my y8 it is 257 hp 230 tq at 16-18ish psi. fluxuates couldnt make any more even hitting 21 psi on it just blowing hot air.

Ah, that sucks. I'm gonna need a bigger turbo to get over 300 then

Thanks for the info, still interested in what trim/size the turbo is though.

Then click on the stealth316 website, search for 15G and you'll get the raw info. That turbo just isn't worth more HP than posted above no matter what you do. Spinning the turbo that fast will just impact it's longevity.

50 trim with a .48 hotside should get you to 300whp and spool pretty well on the single slammer

I've also tuned a few single slammers with 57 trims and .63 hotsides and they did well too with spooling on stock compression though. the vitaras are lower compression but with a good tuner that shouldnt be an issue

257 is the most I've ever seen... thats badass. I hit 252whp with the 15g, and I had thought I had the whp record, but I guess I've been out done. I have seen ~300whp out of the 19t though, all it take is a little machining and th 19t wheel for 300hp, but it will be at full-tilt.

Yeah pushing smaller turbos to their limits is cause for detonation with the hgh intake temps it produces. better off with something a little larger that will be in its maximum effeciency range to produce good power and cooler air charge
